  1. I've been pretty positive, upbeat, about reaching out in Salem. My children and Christian relations all know, tho, that I take a hard line against Halloween and Santa Clause, too.

So in general, I think it's a bad, a real bad, thing.
But nothing compared to reaching out to those trapped on the wrong side of the Great Divide twixt the sheep and the goats. Hey I didn't make this stuff all up.

A guy likes to smoke, so he asks (take yer pick, Pope, Rabbi, priest, preacher), can I smoke while I pray? The answer is, Oh No, that would be a real dishonorable way to go to the Lord. So he goes for a second opinion and asks, can I pray while I'm smoking? The answer comes, It's *always* appropriate to pray--you know, pray without ceasing.

There ya go. Happy All Saints Day and Happy Reformation Day, and the nights before too.

  4. Hey Bruce,

I'd have to disagree with the comparison, but I understand your position.

Oh, and by the way have a Happy Celtic New Year! ;-)
